City Council Meeting Summary

The Minonk City Council approved Ordinance 2023-01 at their monthly meeting Monday night. The action amended 2022/23 Fiscal year budget to remove Grant Funding that the City will not receive.
In other business, City Administrator Bill Moline reported that the City Water Treatment Plant electrical upgrades were started and that the City's new Ambulance should be arriving in the next week or two.
Mr. Moline reported that SMF Inc. is donating twelve picnic tables for the Westside Park pavilion and the Millennia Group is donating funds for the purchase of new flower pots for the Business District.
City Administrator Bill Moline, Council member Julie McNamara and ESDA Director Tonya Minz attended a Multi-Hazard Mitigation Advisory Committee meeting in East Peoria to work with members of both Tazewell and Woodford Counties to update the work on a new Hazard Mitigation plan both Counties can use.
The Public Works, Finance and Public Safety Committee's will start meeting 2/16 to discuss the 2023/24 FY Budget.
