This week's recipe is submitted by Tina Hartzler of Minonk. French Toast Strata4 oz. French bread1 (3 oz) pack cream cheese 3 eggs 1 1/2 cups milk 1/2 cup maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon Cut bread into 3/4 inch cubes. Cut cream cheese into 1/4 inch cubes. Spray 11-7 dish with cooking spray. Place bread cubes in even layer in dish. Sprinkle cream cheese evenly over bread. Beat eggs, milk, syrup and vanilla. Pour mixture over bread. Cover; refrigerate oat least 4 hours or overnight. Heat oven to 350. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over strata. Bake 40-45 min. Will get large and puffy. |
