This week's recipe is submitted by Tina Hartzler of Minonk. Shepard's Pie1 1/3 cups instant potatoes1 2/3 cups milk 2 tablespoon butter or margerine 1 teaspoon salt 1 lb. hamburger 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 jar (12 oz.) beef gravy 3/4 cup grated parm. cheese Prepare 4 servings of mashed potatoes according to package directions using milk, butter, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Brown meat. Heat oven to 400. Spread meat in 13 x 9 in. pan. Add gravy and mix well. Push meat mixture into middle of pan. Spoon potatoes around outside edge, making a ring. Sprinkle cheese over potatoes. Bake about 10 minutes. |
