This week's recipe is submitted by Barb Petri of Minonk Chinese Cabbage Salad1 head Napa or Chinese cabbage1 bunch green onions 1/2 c. oleo 2 1/4 oz. pkg. slivered almonds 2 T.sesame seeds 2 plgs. Ramen noodles 1/4 c. vinegar 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 c. oil 2 T. soy sauce In large bowl cut up cabbage and onions. Saute together until slightly brown, oleo, almonds, sesame seeds and crushed Ramen noodles (throw away seasoning packet). Cool. Boil 1 minute, vinegar, sugar, oil and soy sauce. Cool and refrigerate. Combine all together, toss just before serving. |
