This week's recipe is submitted by Tina Hartzler of Minonk. Monkey Bread3 pkgs commercial tube biscuits1 cup sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 1 1/2 sticks butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 tsp cinnamon Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. In bag, place sugar and cinnamon. Shake pieces of biscuit (few at a time) in bag. Place pieces in oiled tube pan. Melt butter on stove; add brown sugar and cinnamon. Simmer about a minute. Pour this syrup slowly over biscuits. Bake for 50 minutes in 350F oven. Cool for 10 minutes, then put on plate. Just pull pieces out with your fingers. |
