Class of 43 holds reunion

The Minonk High School class of 1943 held their 60th class reunion on Friday, September 19, aboard the
Spirit of Peoria riverboat. Organizers of the reunion were Bob Cufaude, Joan Johnson, Shirley Lutkomski,
and Kathyrn Eden. A buffet dinner was served at 7:00 p.m on the boat as it sailed up the Illinois River.
A dixieland band entertained on the second deck. After returning to the dock at 9:00 p.m. many of the
guests stayed overnight at a local motel and attended a breakfast buffet the following morning.
