Circus enjoyed by large crowd

Over 850 people attended 2 performances of the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus at Sutton's
Park Sunday afternoon. The old fashioned circus featured animal acts, clowns, trapeze artists, jugglers,
and acrobats. Both young and old enjoyed the acts in the hour and half show. Elephant rides and
a petty zoo was an attraction for the youngsters. The circus was sponsored by the the Minonk E.S.D.A.
and was a fun filled event for all.
