The circus is coming to Minonk on September 7 at Sutton's Park. There will be a performance at
2:00 p.m. and at 4:30 p.m. and is sponsored by the Minonk E.S.D.A.
Among the features of the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus will be acrobats and high wire acts, trapeze artists and jugglers,
dog acts, bird acts, and a petting zoo. There also will be zebras, llamas, and elephants. Elephant rides will
also be featured.
Advanced tickets can be purchased from Dollar General, Pop's Sweet Shop, Soaring Eagle Studio and Wenona
Pizza Hut or from ESDA members Ed Renken, Tanya Minz, Ron Redenius, Lynnette Baker, and Denny Kleen.
Advanced ticket prices are $5.00 for children and $7.00 for adults. Tickets at the gate are $7.00 for children
and $9.00 for adults.
