Sher Gries has been named editor of the Minonk edition of the Woodford Journal. She replaces Joe Azanno who will take over as editor of a newspaper in Heyworth. Ms. Gries was formerly the business editor of all three editions of the Woodford Journal and also a photographer for the newspaper. Prior to that, she worked as a receptionist and bookkeeper for the paper. She has been with the Woodford Journal for 9 years.

Ms. Gries said that she is looking forward to working with the people in Minonk. She said that she has been very appreciative of the warm reception that she has received.
