Grassman house

The William Grassman house is located at 527 Walnut Street. This photo was taken before it was converted into a funeral home. It is now the location of the Froelich Funeral Home.
This is an earlier view of the William Grassman house. Notice the Schlitz Opera House in the background to the left rear of the house. The Schlitz Opera House, located at Sixth and Chestnut, burned down in 1934.
