1959 MDR Basketball Team
The 1959 Minonk-Dana-Rutland basketball team compiled a 20-7 record having won the Woodford County Basketball Tournament and tying Lexington for a share of the Midstate Conference championship. The Mohawks were defeated in the finals of the regional tournament by Hopkins of Granville. The Mohawks had a strong bench and many times their opponents were exhausted by a two-platooned style of play exercised by the Mohawks.
