ERNEST N. DENSON

Ernest Denson attended Minonk High School from 1909 to 1913, graduating with the class of 1913. He enlisted in Chicago, December 6, 1917, at the age of 22. He was sent to Jefferson Barracks, Mo., December 10, and from here he was transferred to Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. Ernest was assigned to the 36th Field Hospital Co., where he drilled with company until January 26. He was honorably discharged April 2, 1918.

ELDON M. ECKHART

Eldon Eckhart attended Minonk High School in 1913 and 1914. He graduated with the class of 1914. He enlisted at Manila, Philippine Islands, in the aviation corps, October 13, 1917, at the age of 21. He was promoted to sergeant December 5, 1917 and sergeant first-class on April 1, 1918. He was stationed at Carregidor, Philippine Islands; Kelly Field, San Antonio, Texas; Gerstner Field, Lake Charles, LA.; and Camp Hancock, Augusta, Georgia. At the latter camp he was attending central machine gun officer's training school. Eldon was discharged December 27, 1918.
