Minonk High School Memorial 1919

LLOYD N. MEMMEN

Lloyd N. Memmen, who is twenty-five years of age, attended Minonk High School three and a half years. He was drafted June 23, 1918, and sent to the Sweeny Auto and Tractor School at Kansas City, MO. On August 15 he was sent to Camp Shelby, Mississippi, as a truck driver for the 113th Trench Motor Battery. On September 15, he went to Camp Mills, New York, and was to sail for France October 5 but was taken sick with pneumonia and sent to the hospital. He was sent to Camp Merritt, New Jersey, on November 7. He was discharged on December 26, 1918.

RALPH A. MAMMEN

Ralph Mammen attended Minonk High School from 1910 to 1912. He enlisted June 14, 1918, at Lacon, ILL. He was stationed at Rahe's Army School, Kansas City, MO., and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. On December 14, 1918, he was discharged.
