New Coffee Shop Opens in Downtown Minonk
Tuesday, June 21, 2022
Pictured above from the left is Brickhouse coffee bar manager/owner Erin Jochums and Aubrey McNamara.
Minonk has a new coffee shop downtown. The Brickhouse Coffee Bar is located in the former Country Florist building at 540 Chestnut Street. The coffee bar is owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. Grant Jochums.
The coffee bar is open from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The menu is representative of a Starbucks coffee shop with not only regular coffee but also lattes and cappuccinos. Other refreshments include tea, frappes, smoothies and various types of lemonades.

Pastries include pie, cake, cupcakes, brownies, bagels and cookies. In addition, there are various blends of Acacia Bowls that are a pureed blend of fruits. Finally, there are different varieties of oatmeal.
We urge residents to support this new and unique type of coffee shop that helps bring life back to downtown Minonk.
