Minonk City Police to expand jurisdiction,
Hi Dave, concerning the Minonk City Police to expand jurisdiction, I had some questions. What authority gave the Minonk City Council the ability to expand the jurisdiction of the Minonk City Police Department beyond the Minonk city limits? Will the Minonk City police be cruising the city streets of Benson? Who are the Clayton and Minonk township citizens' representatives that oversee this police department if there is an issue with the police officers? Will this lead to an attempt to tax these new townships to help Minonk cover the cost of the Minonk City police department?

Starting Next week we will be changing our store hours 9 am-8 pm Monday through Saturday and 9 am-7 pm on Sunday. We will have cookouts every other week and we will only be able to do deliveries on Tuesday and Friday. We hope to have a nice turn around soon as we believe in our community so much! As we start to trend back to where we know we can be we will adjust hours back. Please shop local first and get what you can from us, we know we can't have it all for you but we do our best. We hope to see you shopping here at Grosenbach's Grocery. Have a nice day, everyone!

Police
So while the police is out running radar on I 39 or running radar in the country side, who will police within the city of Minonk? Is Minonk planning having more that one officer on duty if so why we have 2300 people? It already seem extreme a city our size having as many squad cars as we do and on top all these large SUVs. I guess they are bored of pulling over high school kids and running radar out at the old Fords house on 251. Maybe it's time for Minonk to find an Andy or Barnie. Let increase the police budget, while our ambulance is begging for money, our parks are crumbling and there really is nothing for kids to do in town, but we will have the largest police force in the state of Illinois for a city less than 3000
