Minonk's Carolyn Development

Minonk's Carolyn Development is located in the northeast quadrant of exit 27 of the I-39 interchange northwest of Minonk. The development services the high volume of traffic from I-39. Over 20,000 cars per day pass through I-39 at the Minonk location making the Carolyn Development an attractive site for retail and travel service companies.


Truck stop and gas station

A Shell service station services both cars and trucks. A convenience store offers food and travel supplies. Showers and a recreation room for truckers are located within the complex and over 100 spaces of parking is available for overnight truck parking.


Automotive sales and service

Uftring Motors, located at the entrance to the Carolyn Development, sells used cars and offers oil and lube service in addition to automotive repair and bodywork.



Motel

A Motel 6 is located at the I-39 interchange. The motel has over 45 units to service the traveling public and has a small conference room and cable TV. A full service restaurant is located immediately across from the motel.


Restaurants

There are two restaurants in the Carolyn Development. Woody's Restaurant offers a full menu for locals and travelers. A Subway sandwich shop is located next to the convenience store for fast food diners.
