St. Patrick's Church in Minonk will be holding an open air mass in the church parking lot starting Tuesday, June 9, at 6:00 pm. The church is undergoing interior decoration and painting which is the reason services cannot be held inside until the decorating is finished.
Those who attend the mass should bring a folding chair. The chairs will be kept 6 feet apart for social distancing. The wearing of masks is optional. Those who are unable to leave their cars can park at designated spots in the church parking lot so they can participate in the mass from their cars.
Those who are able to attend the mass with chairs are urged to park in the street so that those who wish to participate in the mass from their car can find a parking space in the church parking lot.
There will also be an open air mass on Saturday, June 13 at 4:00 pm. Open air masses will continue to be held on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm and Saturdays at 4:00 pm until sometime in July when the church interior decorations are completed.
