Watkins man

This is a picture of Minonk's first Watkins man, the traveling purveyor of ointments, medicines and other remedies for the maladies of the day. E. J. Bennett is shown here with his horse. Notice that the address on his calling card is listed as 420 Cemetery Street which is now Maple Avenue.
