| 1. Going further into debt for health care is not acceptable. Therefore -- a tax increase. The price we pay for caring for those who are less fortunate. | | 2. The current bill will bankrupt this country!! | | 3. Medicaire should have means testing. | | 4. If health care costs can be contained, then it should be more affordable for more people to obtain it. | | 5. Did anyone understand the 2200 page original document? Since very few of our elected representatives even read the bill. We need health care reform to low cost, not transfer the cost form health care to higher taxes. | | 6. Name one organization/agency that the govt. runs effectively and efficiently. Leave it to the private sectar, competition is a good thing! | | 7. USA is 37th in the world for good health care BUT 1st in cost!Insurance companies can not run health care, doctors & people should. This is a concern for America not republican or democrat. Washington must be fixed & accomplish this goal! | | 8. I'm happy with what I have now! | | 9. The Democrats through a process called reconciliation are going to force down a health care program that will bankrupt future genrations of Americans. | | 10. Anything, ANYTHING that the government has its hand in will be ineffective, inefficient and a bureauratic mess. ANYTHING!!! In the name of all that is holy, don't let the federal government have any part of our health care!! | | 11. I think the government should forget about passing a new health care plan PERIOD. Having government control will only make matters worse. | | 12. Let the Presdent do what we sent him there to do!! | | 13. On question #5, I feel the republicans only have the large insurance companys welfare in mind.On question #6 ,I believe cost will come down with health care reform. | | 14. The current plan being considered by congress will bankrupt us all ... that's obvious. And, those who really understand know what a bureaucratic nightmare it would be. To the scrap heap with it. It's stupid.
