Wilbur Rossman's woodworking items - October 13, 2004

Wilbur Rossman poses with one of the many windmills that he makes as a hobby in his home in Minonk. Rossman, who is 90, started his hobby two years ago to keep himself busy in his old age.

Rossman also makes other ununusal items with wood like this combination rain gauge, weather vane, and thermometer.

Rossman said that he would like to teach his hobby to a younger person who can take over from him someday.

Rossman was in construction for 47 years and built his own house 40 years ago. He doesn't build his items for sale. He just enjoys working with wood and with his hands.
