The above map of Minonk was created around 1885. Many of the street names have changed since then. Below are the changes in street names. Jefferson, Washington, Johnson, Lincoln Walnut, Chestnut, Oak, Locust, and Thomas streets are original street names that have not been changed.   Also, notice that to the east of Minonk is the village of Trowbridge that was not annexed into the city until sometime in the 1920's.
