It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Heritage Health, formerly Heritage Manor, of Minonk. We have a variety of entertainment for the month of December, especially music. The month will be getting started with the Village Aires, the Kaupp's, and Sheila Montgomery. Next up will be Chris Stapleton and Virginia Modro. We also have Sis Pickard, Mary Miles, Jerry Peterson, Richard Selquist, the 5th grade, 6th grade, and Middle school choirs from Fieldcrest. Jim & Bev Meyer accompanied by Jari Lyn Oncken will be singing at the resident Christmas party. The month will end with a New Year's party and music by Jan Dixon. Phyllis Scheuer will also be coming in to do holiday baking, not to mention ail the other activities for the month. Thaf s just a little bit of what is going on at Heritage Health. Check out our Heritage Chatter newsletter or just call (309) 432-2557 for details.
Heritage Health of Minonk would also like to focus on our "Adult Day Care" program. At this time of the year, with everyone so busy, it's nice to know this service is available at Heritage. Just call and talk to Kim for more details. Heritage also offers "Respite care" for caregivers taking vacations or just needing time off. Heritage Health of Minonk also sponsors the "Minonk Senior Center" open to seniors of Minonk, Toluca, Rutland, Wenona, and other surrounding communities. This has been open for over a year now and has provided good clean entertainment for our seniors for two hours a week. Heritage Health takes pride in their facility, services offered, their employees, and residents. Our goal is to provide the best possible "Home away from Home" there is! We welcome suggestions, constructive criticism, and concerns, and will address them with the upmost importance. Visitors are always welcome at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care of Minonk.
