“Light Up The Town”
The deadline for luminary orders is November 27th. Order now!! The
luminary event is scheduled for December 9th, with a rain date of
December 10th. You are also welcome to participate in the Christmas
House Walk on the 9th as well. What a beautiful way to let the town
shine. Tour your neighbor’s homes while walking up a candle lit
pathway. (For tickets to the Christmas Tour of Homes please contact
Cathy McKay 432-2605).
The order forms for the luminaria display have been distributed. If
you cannot find yours you can still be a part of this wonderful
display. Order forms are available at Cunningham Candies and
www.minonktalk.com
To place an order you can drop off a completed order form to
Cathy McKay or leave a written note or a phone message that you want
luminaries. Let me know the amount of luminaries you want, your name,
address and phone number.
The cost is: 10 luminaries - $7, 20 luminaries - $14, 30
luminaries - $21. Make checks payable to Minonk Luminaria Display. The
price of the luminaries covers the complete kit, including the candles,
paper bags, limestone, and instructions. An average lot will use 10
luminaries; corner lots will use approximately 20 luminaries. Ideally,
luminaries should be placed 10 feet apart. The candles, bags and
limestone should be picked up December 2 from 10 until 12 noon at the
corner of 4th and Chestnut Street (the Old Uftring Automotive
Building).
If you cannot pickup your order please make arrangements for
someone else to do so during the designated time!! We cannot make any
