The Village-Aires are planning to have ‘A Family Christmas,’ and the
show is fast approaching. The program will be presented on Nov. 18, at
7 p.m. and Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. at the Fieldcrest High School Gym. Tickets
are $5.00 in advance, which can be purchased from Village-Aires
members, and $6.00 at the door.
The local singing group that has had members in it from all over
Woodford County is celebrating family traditions from all over this
year with songs such as “Christmas in the Country” with Amy Grant, and
“Holiday Hoedown”. “Christmas Calypso” will be familiar to those who
enjoy Caribbean music.
In this part of the world the audience will enjoy snow with
its Christmas and the men will remind us of that as they sing “Let It
Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!. As families we sit around the table
and recall “Christmas Remembered.” Children at heart will wonder “Can
Santa Make It Through Tonight?” The Village-Aires women will also
remind the audience of its childhood memories as they sing “Mister
Santa.” There will also be an appearance by local children.
