2009 State Test Scores for Schools Released

Various test scores for Illinois schools for 2009 have been released.  Overall the Fieldcrest elementary schools scored higher than the state average while Fieldcrest High School scored lower than the state average.  The scores included the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT),  the Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE) and the Illinois Alternate Assessment exam, as well as average ACT scores.

PSAE scores for other high schools in the area are Pontiac - 53.4%, Streator - 40%, Flanagan - 61.5%, Normal Community - 67%, Normal West - 61%, Bloomington - 58%.

While Fieldcrest elementary schools scored higher than the state average on all tests, they did not fare as well when compared to other elementary schools in Woodford County.  Of the 17 elementary schools ranked in Woodford County, Fieldcrest South ranked 12th and Fieldcrest East ranked 16th in the ISAT test scores.  For more detailed figures on the test scores go to the Chicago Tribune Schools web page by clicking here.
