Plans Set For 26th Annual Parade of Lights, Dec 5

 The Minonk Business Association is again making plans for the 26th annual Christmas Parade of Lights. The parade will be Sat. Dec. 5, 2009 at 6:30 P.M., in downtown Minonk. The planning committee is in the midst of enhancing this year’s celebration and will be making further announcements as the time nears. The festivities will again include fireworks, the electric parade followed by a visit from Santa Claus. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be handing out candy and visiting with each and every child at The Sweet Shop (Pop’s). The downtown area will be filled with shopping opportunities and open house events. Please make plans to attend this year’s celebration.
