The auction will begin at 7:15 p.m., with Auctioneer John Lauf accepting the bids from the highest bidder. A variety of unique items and services will be available. Here\'s a spotlight on some of the items: collectible uncirculated silver dollars; wood projects fashioned by Bob Nuding, Jim Brown and Chuck Volker; 1 generator oil change; custom compute-designed letterhead/cards package; fall items; china painting items by Harriet Brown; picnic bag and service for 2; several purses which will contain "surprises" (such as gift cards, lottery cards, etc.) and a variety of other items from the creative artisans among us.

All proceeds from the meal and auction will go to the mission project of building an Education Recreation Center at Cunningham Children's Home in Urbana. This agency has been a mission of the United Methodist Women since its opening in 1895.
