Laying of the new storm pipe is nearly complete on the 4^th Street leg of the project.  The Hein Construction crew is now concentrating on laying the pipe on a short leg on 7^th Street west of Johnson  Street.  The weather has been very cooperative allowing the sidewalk, driveway and landscaping crews to follow closely behind the trenching crew.  New grass is starting to sprout in the construction zones that were seeded a couple weeks ago.

Beginning the week of October 10, the blacktopping crew will start laying asphalt on the streets that were previously excavated.  This will smooth out the bumps in those streets and eliminate the dust caused by the gravel patches.
