Marilyn (Mernie) Milashoski cross-stitched this wedding picture of Janet and Harold TJaden using 30,184 stitches to commemorate their 50th anniversary in 2010.  She started this picture January 15, 2009 and completed it on July 23, 2009 working on it at her leisure.

Mernie taught herself to cross-stitch from patterns in 1988 interrupted in 1993 to 1997 by a slight stroke.  She has done 3 "Thomas Kincaide", the artist, cross-stitched pictures which are very intricate.  She estimates having cross stitched approximately 85 pictures for family and friends.
