The Minonk Chocolate Company opened for business on Monday at their new location at Sixth and Oak Streets. The company name was changed from Cunningham Candies to Minonk Chocolate Company although they will still be making candy labeled Cunningham Candies. The renovation of their building lasted 178 days.
Owners Christie Ruestman and Cindy Meyer encourages the public to stop in and view the new store and their many different types of candy for sale. They will be open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. An open house is scheduled for the end of September.
