2008 Crush ASA Fastpitch Softball Tryouts

The Crush Fastpitch Softball team will be holding tryouts for the 2008 teams on Sunday, September 9th at the Minonk Ball Diamonds.  12 & Under tryouts will be from 2:00 to 3:30.  14 & Under tryouts will be from 4:00 to 5:30.  Please bring your own glove, bat, spikes, batting helmet, and sliding pad.  If you are trying out for catcher, please bring your own equipment.  If you have any questions please call John Fuller at 815-854-2271.

This is really a good sport to watch and the kids give it there all. I know that I have seen them and I really think that if more people came out to watch they would really enjoy it. Just something to keep in mind.

One granddaughter is a scholorship recipient star catcher for California State University at Davis. Her younger sister is a star at first base with a terrific batting average for a triple A, 2000 plus student body high school and will get a scholorship offer from many schools. So, "You go Gals, and You Townsfolks support them cause these young kids take the game seriously.
