2007 Fieldcrest Youth Football Schedule announced

The Fieldcrest Youth Football Season is fast approaching.  This season will mark the Inaugural Season for the HOI Junior Football Conference.

This year the conference will consist of Blue Ridge, Fisher, Heyworth, Lexington, El Paso, Flanagan & Fieldcrest.  The 2008 season conference will be adding 2 more teams.  This season will kick off with a Pre-Season Jamboree sponsored by the Blue Ridge JFL in Farmer City Aug. 18th at 8:00am and will run until 7:00pm. 

The season will officially kick-off for Fieldcrest on Aug. 25th in Flanagan starting at 12:00pm with the Fieldcrest Bantams (3rd & 4th) taking on the Blue Ridge Bantams.  Followed by the Junior Knights (5th &6th) vs. Junior Falcons at 3:00pm. 

The Fieldcrest Dark Knights (7th & 8th) will play their first game the following weekend when they travel to Fisher to take on the Fire.

I would just like to mention that the Fieldcrestfootball.com web site is loaded with information and is very user friendly. I am a busy parent with two boys who are members of the teams. I love the convience of being able to look up times of practices and other inportant information(such as directions to the new teams fields)and changes that may occur. This website is updated daily. Thank you Coach Buchanan for this awesome website. This is so much better than misplacing all of the information that is handed out on paper. FYF parent
