Minonk Fireworks rated 6th in Illinois

Minonk has another reason to be proud of its tradition as the place to go for fireworks on the 4th of July. A website has rated the Minonk fireworks as the 6th best in the state of Illinois. The ranking places Minonk ahead of much larger cities such as Peoria and Rockford and most of the Chicago suburbs. The number one ranked fireworks in the state are at Navy Pier in Chicago. The people who produce Minonk's fireworks each year are to be commended for their outstanding work. If you want to see some of the best fireworks in the state, come to Minonk on the evening of July 4th.
