On Saturday, June 11, 2005, there will be a benefit for the family of Marty Prochnow, who lost his life in an automobile accident in April, leaving his wife, Lori, and three little girls - Hailey 7, Hannah 4, and Holly 2.  His parents are Bill and Sue Ellen Prochnow of El Paso.

The benefit will be at the Southe Pointe Park Community Center on S. Sycamore St. in south El Paso.   Doors will be open at 4 pm with several activities including a hog roast dinner, cake walk, raffles, and door prizes.  This is a family oriented gathering with activities planned for all ages.  A live auction of many exciting donated items including furniture, NASCAR collectibles and hotel packages will start at 7 pm with Jeff Prochnow as auctioneer.

Dinner will be served from 4 pm to 7 pm - requested donations are $6 for adults and $4 for children.  Dinner will include a pulled-pork sandwich, side dishes and a drink.  Desserts will be available at the cake walk.

This benefit is being sponsored by the El Paso United Church of Christ and Thrivent Financial Services Woodford County Chapter which is also supplementing funds.  If you would like to assist at this function or make a donation, please contact:
