Fieldcrest High School group, #BETHECHANGE, sponsored a Mental Health Awareness Walk on May 29th, at Millennium Park. There were 121 registered participants, as well as some additional walkers. Among those that walked included 43 high school students, 19 high school staff members, and two school board members.

Supporters of Mental Health Awareness walked from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. In addition, 25 students and 8 staff members also walked during homeroom. After the walk, FHS Guidance Counselor, Patti Peterson, FHS Social Worker, Pam Northrup and FHS student, Rebecca Hudson, attended the school board meeting and spoke to the board and community members present.

#BETHECHANGE wishes to thank all participants for their support and hope to make this an annual event. Together, we can be the change!
