A Memorial Day Service will be held on May 30 at 10:00 am at the Fieldcrest High School Gymnasium. The event is sponsored by the Minonk American Legion and VFW.  The Fieldcrest High School Chorus will sing at the event.  Also, there will be three speakers from Fieldcrest.

Flags will be posted at the grave sites of veterans in the Minonk Township Cemetery. Volunteers are needed to help setting up the flags. Those who wish to help posting the flags should be at the Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 26.
