Fieldcrest South Principal Jason Chaplin Receives Award

 Mr. Jason Chaplin, principal of Fieldcrest South Elementary School in Minonk, IL, was named Elementary Principal of the Year in the Central Illinois Valley division of the Illinois Principals' Association. Mr. Chaplin was nominated for his leadership in the school community and relationship-building among students, staff, parents, and the community, particularly his leadership and poise through some difficult times at South and in the district.
Mr. Chaplin was honored Monday with the award at the annual spring student recognition breakfast in Washington, IL.
Mr. Chaplin has been principal at Fieldcrest South since 2012.
