Travel around the USA with the Village-Aires as they present their spring concert “On The Air” on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 3 p.m.  Both concerts will be held at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 236 W. 5th St., in Minonk, IL. There will be no intermission.  Tickets purchased in advance are $5.00 for adults.  At the door they are $6.00.  Student tickets are $2.00.

At the concerts you will be able to tune into station WLTS AM (We Love To Sing All Music.)  The women will sing “Naughty But Nice and the men will sing “Georgia On My Mind” as you travel to Jazz/Blue country.  From Motown you will hear “My Girl,” “One Fine Day,” and “Soul and Inspiration.”  We are proud of our country and will close the concert with “This Is My Country” and “There She Stands.”

They are under the direction of Elaine Cunningham.
