"Lovin' The 70's" is the theme for the Village-Aires Spring Program which
will be presented on Saturday, April 22 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 23 at 3 p.m.
Both performances will be at the Fieldcrest H. S. Gym. Tickets are $5 purchased
in advance and $5.50 at the door.
In the 70's the trains were disappearing as found in the song "City of New
Orleans" sung by the Village-Aires. Even though the times were changing there
were songs that gave us hope. The group will be singing: "Put Your Hand In The
Hand," "Stayin' Alive," "Love Is In The Air," "I'll Be There," and "People Need
Love." As the program draws to a close we hear, "Let's all join in 'Harmony' and
sing away the hurt and fear, as we look forward to a great new day will soon be
here."
