Former Minonk Man Makes Magazine Cover

Former Minonk resident Shawn Russell has hit the big time as a model and actor. Shawn's latest accomplishment is being on the cover of the June 2008 edition of Men's Exercise magazine. He has also appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine several times and also on the cover of Ocean Drive magazine.
In addition to his modeling career, Shawn has appeared as an extra on the television program The Guiding Light and appeared in the Sexiest Man In America contest on the television program All My Children.
Shawn is the son of Mrs. Norma Russell formerly of Minonk and is a 2001 Fieldcrest graduate. He resides in both Miami Beach and New York City and makes it back to Minonk several times a year to visit friends.
