Frieda Kettwich of Minonk will celebrate her 90^th birthday with an open house on Saturday, March 27^th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Minonk from 2-4 p.m.  She was born April 6, 1920, in Linn Township, Woodford County, Illinois.  She married Orville Kettwich on September 11, 1941.  He died December 17, 1975.  She has a son, Allen Kettwich of Waite Park, Minnesota, and a daughter, Suzanne (Ron) Bruch of Granville, Illinois. 

She also has 2 nieces, Karen (Larry) Stotts and Marilyn Gubitz, both of Minonk, and a nephew, Paul (Shelly) May, of Bloomington, whom she raised after the death of her sister, Delores.  She has 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

She owned and operated K’s Kitchen, Restaurant and Catering, and also baked wedding and birthday cakes for many years.  She now enjoys crocheting, embroidering and playing cards.
