School board "Meet the Candidates Night" set for March 24

The Fieldcrest Education Association is sponsoring a 'Meet the Candidates Night'
on Monday, March 24, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rutland American Legion Hall, Rutland, IL. This event
is designed to allow interested residents of the district the opportunity to become better-informed voters.
The prospective Fieldcrest Board of Education candidats are: Bill Butler, Rebecca Donna, Jeff Geringer, Joe Kirkpatrick,
Jeff Pickard, and Melinda Tiraboschi. The evening will be divided into two sections. The first half will be a
formal response time in which all candidates will have an opportunity to share their visions, insights, goals and priorities
for the future of the district. During this time, audience members may write their own questions on paper. A
fifteen minute coffee break will allow candidates and audience members an opportunity to mingle and socialize.
Following the break, the FEA moderators will present questions written by audience members to the candidates who will
have an option of responding to these issues.
