City Administrator Doug Elder announced that the City has arranged to have metal cans recycled as a supplement to the recycling agreement with ADDWC of Woodford County. Thomas Equipment of El Paso will place a recycling bin next to the ADDWC bin and will accept metal at no charge to the City. However, they will not accept glass which means that glass will have to be put in with the normal garbage pickup or taken to another recycling center.
In summary, metal and aluminum can be placed in the Thomas Equipment bin while aluminum, paper, and plastic can be put in the ADDWC bin.
