Cub Scouts raise money for tsunami victims Tuesday, March 15, 2005 - Posted 7:45:45 AM by Barb Hahn These
boys are the Bear Den of Cub Scout Pack #78. These boys were very
moved after the tsunami tragedy and strongly felt the need to do
something to help the victims. They held a bake sale before and
after the recent Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. The bake sale
was the brain child of these scouts. They and their families
brought baked goods, the scouts made signs and special containers for
holding the money. They raised $75.00!!! The money has been
sent to the Red Cross and designated to go to aid the victims of the
tsunami. L to R: Trevor Muntz, Michael Fiorini, John Paul Kulak, Eli Hahn, Kyle Ruestman
These are the Bear scouts again at an outing taken last Sat. 3/12 to
Humiston Woods. These boys are working on a special award called
"Leave No Trace" which has to do with being concerned for the
environment around us and leaving nature undisturbed.
