Builta, Norman A. Young, RIchard Wyss, Robert Wyss, and Dean Mueller.

James Jacek reported that the Minonk Food Pantry needs more freezer space because more food is handled and needed the last few months.  It was then voted to purchase a 25 cubic foot freezer at a cost of $850 for the food pantry and to use the remaining portion of the July 4th drawing profits for this purchase.

It was decided that in cooperation with the other American Legion posts of Fieldcrest that up to two high school junior boys would be sponsored to go to Boy's State in June.

Gene Tweedt reported that he had observed some badly tattered and faded US flags flying in the city of Minonk.  All agreed that citizens should be encouraged to replace them.  Worn out flags may be turned in to City Hall for proper retirement.
