A memorial fund is being started for former Minonk resident Donna J. Cumming who died February 22, 2005.  The proceeds from the fund will be donated to the fund drive for the construction of a gazebo in the Westside Park. A plaque in memory of Mrs. Cumming will be installed in the gazebo. Mrs. Cumming is the daughter of the late Elmo Davis of Minonk.  Her mother, Mary Rita Davis, resides in the Heritage Nursing Home in Minonk.

Those wishing to donate to the memorial fund can send a check made payable to the Donna Cumming Memorial Fund to the Alpha Community Bank, 137 West Fifth, Minonk, IL 61760 or to Meyer-Jochums Agency, 118 West Fifth, Minonk, IL 61760.
