Country Companies insurance agent Jay Hurd won two awards last week.  Hurd, whose office is located at 562 Chestnut Street in Minonk, received the award for Leader of the Tazewell Woodford County Agency for Country Companies.   He also received the award for New Agent of the year.

Mr. Hurd said that he enjoys working with the families of Minonk and surrounding areas. He said, "My main goal is to continue to give the service the client deserves and let them know of all the areas that COUNTRY can serve them in."
