Operations will be 40 hours Monday through Thursday.  There will be no union shop and employees will be paid an hourly wage.

Well I went and WOW what a great turnout! It was great to see some of the past employees again! The place looks like it is coming together well. Valerie Lilley has some great ideas! It looks to me like Minonk has a great business moving in and the people of that town should be very proud!

As a former employee of Toluca Garment Co., I will be there! As far as the Union went, it did NOTHING to help or protect us. I will be grateful to just get back working. With it opening in Minonk it opens up the idea of purchasing our new home in that community. Thank you Valerie Lilley for opening up the opportunity to us again!

I want to say thank you to the City and to Valerie Lilley for choosing Minonk to open your new factory in. We are so glad to have you and wish you the best.

A non-union job is far better than no job at all and no money for food and medical and all the needs a pesron has. The unions are overstepping thier bounds now days and do nnot work for the common man as they used to. We need to reorganize the unions and get them back on track before I would recommend a union anywhere. I am all for the non unnion garment factory in Minonk and thank the Lord these people will get there jobs back. Thank you Miss Lillie.

I think what they are saying by no union shop is dont expect much money or benefits. You cant legally stop a union if your employees want one. Hope everything works out! Good luck and thank you for coming to Minonk.

Such a wonderful thing to happen to a small town U.S.A.If you don't want to call it by its' full name because of another town name, call it what we called it "The Garment Factory" What better highclass name then "The Tailoring Shop" .Be glad for those that get hired on and can get off unemployment.

This is one reason why the one in Toluca closed down it could afford the wages and compete making $3 hour less and have a job is better than at one time making $3 more and being unemployeed. Ask the citizens of Danville if the voting down a pay cut paid off for them in the long run

Finally, made in the USA in good ole Minonk! This is a wonderful opportunity for the city, so people need to quit being so negative about names, union, etc. Ever stop to think that all the negative comments might be the reason why businesses aren't flocking to the city?? Certainly a point to ponder.

Personally, I do not like unions. At one time in America, they were needed. But any more (in my opinion), they do more harm than good. Knowning they are non-union, just makes me want to purchase their wares that much more. Yes, I have been in a union before - in that one, it was pure politics. The working stiff lost out.

If you want a job there, apply for it, if you don't like the choice- don't apply. This is great for our community. We have a thriving business coming to an otherwise empty building. Workers may even help our community by eating lunch, buying groceries and supporting other business in Minonk.

It seems to me that the workers have a right to decide if a union is needed. I didn't realize that Minonk was located in mainland China
