There will be only one candidate for each of the three wards in the upcoming city aldermanic election.  Encumbment Sean Cunningham will run unoppposed in Ward 1 while  encumbment  Cory Ruestman will run unopposed in Ward 2 and David  Jenkins will run unoppposed in Ward 3 to replace current Alderman Jason Buchanan who is not running for re-election in April.
