Plenty of Activities at the Filger Library

Happy kids show off the stuffed animals they adopted from Filger at the puppet show February 6. It was Take Your Child to the Library Day, which is a good idea every day!

Young patrons become dramatic puppeteers with the puppets they received at Take Your Child to the Library Day. Friday, February 12, is Puppet Making at the library, at 10. Register at 432-2929.

Wedding dresses and photos are on display at Filger Library during February. Jari Lynn Oncken and Nancy Williams look for couples they recognize. A Valentine Reception will be February 18; all are welcome to come to see the display and enjoy treats!

More fun at the library! Check out a book, knowing only it's a romance or a biography (for example ). Unwrap at home, and savor the book and a gift chocolate! Available during February only!

The new Book Club at Filger Library had its first discussion, and will meet again March 8. They are now reading Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. Call 432-2929 if you would like to join or to request a copy of the book.
